A Healing Home for Women Rebuilding after Homelessness & Addiction

The Issue

In Shasta County and across the nation, too many women are trapped in generational cycles of poverty, abuse, and addiction. These struggles often begin in childhood and carry into adulthood—creating a cycle that feels nearly impossible to escape. When women finally take the brave step to seek help, they often face a new set of barriers: a lack of affordable housing, limited access to therapy and job training, and few opportunities to build healthy community. Without long-term, holistic support, many fall back into the same patterns they fought so hard to overcome - leading to chronic instability, homelessness, and relapse.

Our Mission

Shiloh Flower Farm is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to creating a healing home for women rebuilding their lives after homelessness and addiction. Through community, therapy, health, education, life skills, and job training, we provide a safe space for restoration and new beginnings - helping women break cycles of dependence, decrease reliance on public systems and reduce recidivism by building sustainable, independent lives.

We believe transformation takes time, safety, and support. We exist to break these generational cycles by providing women with a supportive community that empowers them to rebuild their lives and thrive.

Our Program

To bring this mission to life, we rely on an integrated, holistic approach. Instead of fragmented services, we root every part of our work in three central pillars - each reinforcing and strengthening the others - to guide women on a journey from pain to purpose and transformation.

Housing

We provide a safe and stable home where women can find peace, rest, and security as they rebuild their lives from the ground up.

Life Skills

We equip women with practical tools - such as financial management, and healthy routines - to help them navigate everyday life with confidence and independence.

Job Training

Through hands-on experience, women gain meaningful work skills and a renewed sense of purpose that prepares them for sustainable employment.

Education

From GED support to career development, we offer educational opportunities that empower women to grow intellectually and open new doors for their future.

Therapy

Healing takes time. Through trauma-informed counseling and therapeutic support, we help women grow their capacity, build emotional resilience and embrace hope for what’s ahead.

C0mmunity

True restoration happens in relationship. We cultivate a supportive community where women experience belonging, accountability, and encouragement needed to thrive.
