A New Season at Shiloh
Hello Friends,
We’ve been quiet this year, but for good reason. Most of 2026 has been spent pursuing Partnership approval, and we got it! Unfortunately, the program we were approved under ends its funding in December, which left us unsure how to move forward.
Then, miraculously, we received a call in June. A generous local man offered to fund a director’s salary for our first year at Shiloh. With that gift, we made the decision to launch.
Last month, we hired our first executive director, Christine Haggard. Christine brings 30 years of experience in social work, including the last three spent launching a program similar to what we’re building here. She is kind, loving, firm, and exactly the leader Shiloh needs.
We’ve distributed applicant forms to several local agencies and will begin interviewing potential participants this month. The women we hope to serve are tired of how they’ve been living, ready for something different, and in need of an opportunity. Our hope is that Shiloh becomes a space for healing and change: a full reset of body and soul.
A typical day at Shiloh will include morning quiet time, animal care, garden work, community, therapy, education, healthy food, and connection. Our goal isn’t just a good experience while they’re here. It’s building habits and relationships that last well beyond it.
We can serve about eight women at a time. This is not a broad program; it’s a deep one. We walk alongside each woman individually.
At its heart, this program exists to open women to new experiences and help them reimagine what’s possible for their lives. We can’t do it alone. We need volunteers. We need financial support. We need prayer.
Thank you for being part of this journey with us.
